How is parasailing different than parachuting

Para-gliding is a form of flying above ground using a harness and a small sail. This harness allows you fly. It keeps you safe when you're falling through the air.

To fly, you don't require any special equipment. Simply attach yourself to your sail. Then, you can take off. The sail will be pushed against the wind as you ascend in altitude. This forces the sail to lift you.

You keep moving forward, as you glide along ground. Your momentum will propel you forward until the cable ends. At that point, you release your grip and fall back to earth.

When you're ready to start again, reattach yourself to the sail.

Parasailing is rapidly growing. Parasailing attracted more than 1,000,000 participants in 2013. It's nearly twice as many people did it in 2013 than in 2008.
